The LEVO works best when using coarsely ground herbs, larger than a grain of sand, so that they stay contained inside of the herb pod throughout the infusion process.
The temperature range for the 3 different cycles in the LEVO II are as follows; DRY; 75 – 175 degrees Fahrenheit ACTIVATE; 200 – 275 degrees Fahrenheit INFUSE; 75 – 200 degrees Fahrenheit
Both Dry and Activate cycles heat your botanical ingredients (within the Herb Pod). The default setting for Dry is 115 F and 240 F for Activate. Once complete, you may add your oil, butter or honey to infuse.

Yes! LEVO’s minimum is 5 oz, and maximum for LEVO II is 19 oz. However, you will need to make sure that the ingredients in your Herb Pod are fully submerged for the most effective infusion.
The Activate setting, yes. The Dry setting is recommended with herbs like Rosemary, Lavender and Thyme to reduce moisture before infusing, or storing for later use.

Thanks to LEVO’s removable silicone seal, there’s virtually no smell while using the Dry, Activate or Infuse cycles!
